On August 18, 2026, the all-new IM L6 officially opened for pre-sale with five models priced from 219,900 yuan. Positioned as a mid-size pure electric coupe, the vehicle is built on a full-domain 800V NEO powertrain architecture. The Pro Max variant delivers up to 850km of CLTC range, while the entire lineup features full wire-controlled chassis and LiDAR-equipped intelligent driving systems. A Prof. Jimmy Choo co-branded limited edition was also launched simultaneously.

Pricing and Model Lineup: Covering 219,900 to 269,900 Yuan

On August 18, IM Motors officially announced pre-sale pricing for the all-new IM L6. The standard lineup includes three variants: Max at 219,900 yuan, Pro Max at 234,900 yuan, and Ultra at 269,900 yuan. Additionally, the IM L6 × Prof. Jimmy Choo limited edition opened for pre-sale with two variants priced at 234,900 yuan and 249,900 yuan, with only 1,000 units available for the first batch.

The pricing strategy brings 800V high-voltage platforms, full wire-controlled chassis, and LiDAR-equipped intelligent driving — features previously reserved for premium vehicles — into the 200,000-yuan segment.

Design Language: Coupe Silhouette with 0.21Cd Drag Coefficient

The IM L6 is positioned as a mid-size pure electric coupe with dimensions of 4924×1960×1474mm and a 2950mm wheelbase. It continues the fastback hatchback silhouette with a family-style closed front fascia and willow-leaf LED headlights, achieving an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.21Cd. The rear features full-width taillights and an active electric spoiler that automatically deploys at high speeds.

The limited edition was designed by renowned Chinese footwear designer Prof. Jimmy Choo, featuring exclusive flowing pearlescent silver paint, dream blue brake calipers, and crystal Logo elements with the designer's signature.

Intelligent Cockpit: Triple-Screen Layout with 8295 Chip

The interior adopts a triple-screen layout: a 26.3-inch 4K central display and full LCD instrument cluster for the driver, a 10.5-inch touch panel below the center console, and a 15.5-inch passenger entertainment screen on higher trims. The cockpit extensively uses NAPPA leather and wood-grain accents. The infotainment system runs on Qualcomm's SA8295P chip with the new-generation IMOS AI system and IM Ultra Agent, supporting full-scenario voice interaction.

Standard features include Danish B&O premium audio, an instant-response sunshade roof, a 5.7L intelligent refrigerator, and a cooled 50W wireless charging pad. Front seats are space-chair design with ventilation, heating, and massage functions.

Intelligent Driving: LiDAR as Standard Equipment

The IM L6 features LiDAR as standard across all variants. The IM AD intelligent driving system is powered by Momenta, supporting highway and urban navigation assist without high-definition maps, as well as one-click AI valet driving. The specific autonomous driving chip — whether NVIDIA Thor or Orin-X — remains to be confirmed at launch.

The IM Ultra Agent intelligent assistant supports complex commands such as multi-point pickups and dynamic route adjustments.

Powertrain: 800V Architecture with 850km Range

The IM L6 is built on SAIC's new NEO powertrain architecture with a full-domain 800V platform supporting 396kW ultra-fast charging, capable of adding 580km of range in just 15 minutes. The self-developed Energy Master Management System 3.0 achieves a remarkably low energy consumption of 11.6kWh per 100km.

Pro MaxSingle motor RWD93kWh850km4.9s
UltraDual motor AWD103kWh840km2.74s

The Pro Max variant achieves 850km CLTC range with its 93kWh battery and 300kW rear motor, making it the range champion of the lineup. The Ultra trades some range (840km) for dual-motor all-wheel-drive performance, delivering blistering 2.74-second acceleration and 33-meter braking distance from 100km/h.

Chassis: Full Wire-Controlled System with Rear-Wheel Steering

The entire lineup features a new-generation wire-controlled chassis with full wire-controlled steering, intelligent four-wheel steering, and Lizard Digital Chassis 3.0. The wire-controlled system shares lineage with civil aviation technology, equipped with triple safety redundancy. The rear wheels support bidirectional 18-degree steering, enabling a 4.39-meter turning radius on a 2950mm wheelbase vehicle. Front suspension is double wishbone, rear is multi-link, with intelligent closed air suspension on the AWD variant.

Pre-sale benefits include: 2,000 yuan deposit offsetting 12,000 yuan, upgrade package worth 41,600 yuan, intelligent driving package worth 36,800 yuan (lifetime free for first owners), and lifetime battery warranty for first non-commercial owners.
