Top Tier: Independent Trio Forms Leading Pack

BYD's near 400,000-unit monthly sales set a new benchmark. June NEV PV sales reached 1.007 million units, with penetration at 62.8% — pure electric models overtook ICE for the first time as the dominant powertrain.

Notably, Chery's June exports reached 191,062 units, up 79.7% YoY, setting a new Chinese automaker monthly export record.

New Force Reshuffling

  • Leapmotor: 93,376 units, 9th place, gap to 8th-ranked Great Wall only 622 units
  • Tesla: 89,091 units, dropped to 10th
  • Li Auto: 30,895 units in June, down 14.84% YoY, third consecutive monthly decline

JV Camp: Finding Footholds Amid Decline

JV brands have basically exited mainstream NEV competition, relying entirely on ICE stock. Only Camry made the top 10 overall PV sales in June.

H2 Outlook

Competition is shifting from price wars to technology and ecosystem battles:

  1. Advanced ADAS: L2 penetration expected to exceed 70%
  2. 800V platforms: Fast charging becoming standard
  3. AI-powered cockpits: Enhanced intelligent experiences
  4. Export growth: Policy support and overseas expansion

For overseas dealers and buyers in Central Asia and Russia, Chinese independent brands continue to expand their product and value advantages. Visit EX1000.COM for the latest information.
