Geely delivered an impressive performance in July, with total sales reaching 250,161 units, marking the fifth consecutive month of both year-on-year and month-on-month growth. The most striking change was the leap in NEV share—July NEV sales hit 160,165 units, accounting for 64% of total sales, signaling that Geely has officially entered a new development phase dominated by new energy vehicles.

From a brand perspective, Geely's foundation remains solid:

  • Geely brand (including China Star and Galaxy series): 197,942 units in July
  • Geely Galaxy: 107,797 units in July, up 13% YoY; 1-7 cumulative 627,590 units
  • China Star: 90,145 units in July, up 15% MoM
  • Lynk & Co: 16,382 units in July, with NEVs at 14,069 units, accounting for 86%
  • Zeekr: 35,837 units in July, up 111% YoY, hitting a new record

Overseas Market: Geely Exports Double

Geely's July overseas exports reached 106,663 units, surging 202% YoY and setting a new monthly export record. Notably, NEV models accounted for nearly 60% of total exports, demonstrating that global demand for Chinese new energy vehicles is rapidly accelerating.

Geely is also accelerating its overseas footprint. On July 23, Geely announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Geely SPV reached an agreement with Ford NL to acquire a 34% stake in a Spanish target company for EUR 221 million. The joint venture is expected to commence operations in H1 2027, with Geely planning to produce two NEV models at the Valencia plant, the first vehicle expected to roll off the line in 2028.
