Installed Volume Surpasses 2 Million: A Milestone for Huawei's Auto Business

On July 17, 2026, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, revealed at the 2026 Huawei Qiankun Media Day that by the end of August, the total installed volume of Huawei Qiankun ADS and HarmonyOS Cockpit will successively exceed 2 million units. This means Huawei's smart vehicle business crossed from the first million to the second million in just about 15 months, while the first million took approximately 42 months.

The significant acceleration in growth rate reflects that Huawei's intelligent automotive solutions are entering a rapid scaling phase.

Qiankun ADS: Computing Power Grows 20x in Three Years

Jin Yuzhi also announced the computing power growth data for Qiankun ADS. From 2023 to 2026, Qiankun ADS computing power has grown by more than 20 times. This growth provides a more powerful hardware foundation for real-time perception, decision-making, and planning in intelligent driving systems.

Currently, Qiankun ADS total installed volume exceeds 1.9 million units, cooperating with over 25 brands and more than 50 models. The upcoming ADS 5 adopts the WEWA 2.0 architecture, which will further enhance the intelligent driving experience.

HarmonyOS Cockpit: From First to Second Million

HarmonyOS Cockpit's first million installed volume took about 42 months, while the second million is expected to take only 15 months. This acceleration curve indicates that HarmonyOS Cockpit is gaining recognition from an increasing number of automakers and consumers.
