Fang Cheng Bao Reaches 600,000 Cumulative Sales in 35 Months, Expands into Sedans
BYD's Fang Cheng Bao has surpassed 600,000 cumulative sales, reaching this scale about 35 months after the brand's launch, and it took only two months to grow from 500,000 to 600,000 units. In September 2026, Fang Cheng Bao launched two sedans, the Fang Cheng S and Fang Cheng S GT, priced from RMB 189,900 to RMB 239,900, expanding from hardcore off-road vehicles to a dual-line layout of off-road and sport sedans. Its growth relies on the DMO super hybrid off-road platform and DiSus chassis technology, but competition in both hardcore off-road and sport sedan segments is intensifying simultaneously; going forward, the delivery performance of the sedan lineup and the pace of product innovation need to be observed.
