Recently, the CEO team of the ex1000 Platform paid a business visit to Azerbaijan and held special‑purpose working talks with officials from relevant competent government departments of Azerbaijan. The two sides conducted in‑depth consultations on key topics including the export of Chinese complete vehicles and new‑energy automobiles, local supporting facilities, cross‑border logistics and market access, and reached a principled consensus on multiple areas of cooperation.

During the talks, the CEO of our side elaborated on the company’s comprehensive capabilities covering complete‑vehicle exports, new‑energy vehicle supply chains, after‑sales service systems and overseas channel development. Priority was given to the promotion of gasoline‑powered and new‑energy passenger‑vehicle product solutions tailored to Azerbaijan’s road conditions, energy environment and local regulatory standards. Our team noted that Azerbaijan, located at the heart of the South Caucasus, serves as a vital transport hub connecting Central Asia, West Asia and Eastern Europe and boasts outstanding geo‑trade advantages. The enterprise attaches great importance to the automotive market of Azerbaijan and the broader South Caucasus region, and plans to build stable and sustainable supply channels for complete‑vehicle exports relying on cross‑border passages such as the Khorgos Port.
Azerbaijani government representatives at the meeting spoke highly of the achievements of China’s automotive industry. They gave a detailed briefing on the country’s automobile import tariff policies, vehicle certification criteria, motor‑vehicle registration regulations, new‑energy incentive plans and the current status of infrastructure development. The Azerbaijani side stated that domestic market demand for cost‑effective Chinese‑brand vehicles keeps rising. It welcomes Chinese automakers to carry out formal complete‑vehicle trade locally and pledged to provide necessary support in areas such as customs clearance compliance, policy consultation and connections with local dealer resources, so as to jointly establish a stable and efficient cooperation mechanism for automobile trade.
The two sides exchanged views item‑by‑item on practical pain‑points in current automobile exports, covering EAC vehicle certification, port‑clearance procedures, cross‑border settlement solutions, spare‑parts support for after‑sales services, cultivation of local dealers, and the construction of logistics and warehousing facilities. Following thorough discussions, the two parties reached agreement on core matters including compliant bulk exports of complete vehicles, alignment with market‑access policies, long‑term localized operation and risk‑prevention‑and‑control mechanisms.

This high‑level meeting marks a crucial step for the company in further exploring the overseas automotive market in the South Caucasus. Moving forward, the enterprise will set up a dedicated project team to accelerate preliminary work including vehicle compliance certification, implementation of supply‑chain plans and screening of local partners. It will complete all import‑approval procedures in strict accordance with Azerbaijani laws and regulations, and steadily launch complete‑vehicle export operations. Meanwhile, taking Azerbaijan as a regional pivot, the company will expand its market layout covering neighboring Central‑Asian countries, continuously broaden the overseas footprint of Chinese self‑owned automotive brands, and contribute to the high‑quality global expansion of domestic automobiles.
