SAE-China Hou Fushen: Automotive Intelligent Electrification Accelerates New Material Applications, Categories Doubled

SAE-China Vice Chairman Hou Fushen pointed out that intelligent electrification is accelerating automotive new material applications, with categories doubling from about 120 in 2020 to 240 in 2026. Carbon fiber, solid electrolytes, silicon carbide and other new materials are rapidly gaining penetration, directly affecting export model performance competitiveness.
