German Study: EV One-Pedal Driving Misoperation Risk 2.5x Higher Than ICE
German accident research institute UDV analyzed nearly 500 serious traffic accidents and found that EV one-pedal mode carries misoperation safety risks, with pedal confusion accident rates 2.5 times higher than comparable ICE vehicles. Nearly half of involved drivers were over 75 years old.
