China's semi-solid battery industry reached an inflection point in 2026. According to CAAM data, 2025 domestic semi-solid battery installations reached 31.7GWh, up 272% year-over-year. 2026 installations are expected to hit 82GWh, with 2030 projected to exceed 420GWh. Qingtao Power partnered with MG to bring semi-solid batteries to 100,000-yuan-class vehicles, transitioning from premium tech to mass-market accessibility.
