STMicroelectronics Unveils Amplifier-Free Audio: Saving Tens of Dollars per Vehicle

STMicroelectronics showcased an amplifier-free distributed audio solution based on Stellar G6 MCU at electronica Shanghai 2026. The system connects zone controllers via Ethernet ring network to drive speakers, saving tens of dollars per vehicle. Multiple local OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers have already initiated POC validation.
