NIO ES9 Officially Launched: From 498,000 Yuan, 900km Range Rivals BMW X5

On May 28, 2026, NIO officially launched its flagship pure-electric SUV ES9, priced between 498,000 and 598,000 yuan. Built on the NT3.0 platform with up to 900km CLTC range, it features a full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture and the self-developed Shenji NX9031 chip. Positioned against the BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE, overseas pricing is expected to be 15% to 20% higher than domestic.
