Dongfeng/Stellantis/Jeep Sign Strategic Cooperation, 8 Billion RMB Investment in NEV Off-Road

On May 15, 2026, Dongfeng Motor, Stellantis Group, and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The total investment exceeds 8 billion RMB. From 2027, two Jeep brand NEV off-road models will be produced at the Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Wuhan factory for global sales. Nissan and Dongfeng have also established an export joint venture to export China-developed NEV models to Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
