2026 NEV Rural Campaign Launches, Trade-in Policy Extends to Countryside

On June 18, 2026, five ministries jointly announced the launch of the 2026 NEV Rural Campaign. With the theme "Green, Low-Carbon, Smart, Safe—Smart Travel to Thousands of Counties, Green Benefits for Rural Families," the campaign extends trade-in subsidies to rural consumers without quantity limits. Sales networks, maintenance services, charging infrastructure, and financial services will also go rural.
