India's Tata to License Chery Platform, Avinya EV Series Production in 2027

Indian automaker Tata Motors plans to license vehicle manufacturing platform technology from China's Chery Automobile for its Avinya pure electric series, scheduled for production in 2027. This marks the first large-scale export of Chinese automotive platform technology to the Indian market, opening a new path for Chery's overseas technology licensing model.
