NEV Penetration First Breaks 60%: 6 Out of 10 New Cars Are Now NEV
China's NEV penetration reached 56.9% in H1 2026, with monthly rates hitting 60.0%, 60.2%, and 60.5% in April-June respectively — the first time surpassing 60%. BEV share overtook PHEV, and A0 BEV contributed 35% of incremental sales.
