On August 5, 2026, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone signed an agreement with Wuhan Youfin Auto Parts Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of West Shanghai, to establish a new R&D and manufacturing base with a total investment of approximately 156 million yuan. The base will focus on brake-by-wire products, with production slated to begin in 2027 and full design capacity targeted for 2030.
