August NEV Passenger Vehicle Wholesale Hits 1.51 Million Units, Up 16% YoY
According to the latest estimates from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), August 2026 nationwide new energy passenger vehicle wholesale sales are projected to reach 1.51 million units, representing a 16% year-over-year increase and a 4% month-over-month gain. Despite ongoing price competition and the traditionally slower summer season, the NEV market continues its robust expansion trajectory, setting an optimistic foundation for the upcoming peak "Golden September and Silver October" sales period.
